Hi, I’m Rachel! I’m a freelance writer and strategist. After graduating from Ohio University’s Scripps School of Journalism, I moved to a small town in Japan for a little over a year to teach English.

Prior to Japan, I interned all over the United States —  as a technology content strategist in Chicago, a nonprofit digital strategist in Washington, D.C., and a reporter in my home state, Ohio.

I’ve written for the Japan News and GaijinPot, and ghostwritten blog posts for craigslist founder Craig Newmark and GrubHub. See some of my work here.

When I’m not writing or traveling, I love going for runs, reading nonfiction books, and scoping out a new craft beer to add to Untappd.
